This is some of the best pop culture news I have heard all week, no scratch that, all year! It was hard not to freak out when we learned Everything Everything by Nicola Yoon (a favorite here at #Ave) was picked up by MGM, and the good news just snowballed from there. First it was announced that Stella Meghie (Jean of the Joneses) signed on to direct, and while I can’t personally say I’ve seen her work I still feel confident this is a perfect fit for her and she will do the book justice. Plus Nicola herself put her excited stamp of approval on the new director, so I have complete faith in her.

Then today on The Hollywood Reporter it was announced that Maddy and Olly have been cast, and these two could not be more perfect! Amandla Stenberg, more commonly known as Rue from The Hunger Games, and Nick Robinson (Jurassic World, The 5th Wave (or my personal favorite The Kings Of Summer)) will bring one of my favorite books of 2015, and quite possibly of all time, to life and we just cannot wait for more on this! I’m talking posters, stills, trailers, interviews, and finally the moment I won’t believe is happening, the movie itself. It’s going to be quite the adventure, and I hope you’ll join us!

If you haven’t read Everything Everything yet, or you just don’t know what it is, I strongly encourage you to get on that! Click this link and add it to your Goodreads ASAP! This is not a drill!
