Oh goodness, this still gives me the shivers! Fans of SHERLOCK will remember this EPIC (albeit creepy) last scene of the last episode in Season 3. Even though many of us believed Moriarty to be dead after The Reichenbach Fall, it turns out that (like Sherlock) Moriarty somehow survived! So Sherlock has been called back from the shortest exile in history, while we’re left with ALL the questions and dying for the next season! Well, it seems that our relief is in sight–earlier today, BBC One confirmed that Sherlock will be back in 2015! According to co-creator, writer, and executive producer Mark Gatiss:

“Series Four! At last ! It’s always special to return to Sherlock but this time it’s even more special as we’re doing… a Special! Not only THAT, we’ll then be shooting three more episodes which will take Sherlock and John Watson into deeper and darker water than ever before. The whole Sherlock team are terrifically excited to return for four new adventures. The Game is on – again!”

Cast and crew will begin filming the Sherlock special in January 2015, and shooting of the remaining three episodes will follow later that year!

I’m SO excited to see what’s in store for Sherlock (Benedict Cumberbatch) and John (Martin Freeman)! What sorts of mysteries do you think Season 4 has in store for us?
